seven little months
oh you scrolled down this far. good!
can you believe how fast this little baby is becoming a not so little baby? me neither!
just in case you’re playing catch up, here’s her months all lined up.
and now a little update on 7.
we spend copious amounts of hours getting in good jam sessions with this bad boy. sans batteries.
this amazing machine gets more use in this house than the vacuum these days. and i love me some vacuum. yes. i have a williams-sonoma baby food maker. i went there. however, if you’d prefer not to, there is always this option. still awesome, just a 2 cup capacity instead of 4. when i’m slicing and dicing fruits and veggies i just prefer to go big or go home.
we’re pretty excited about everything these guys make, specifically the yogis and puffs. we’ve tried two other brands when in desperate need of a snack and they’ve both made her break out in a terrifying rash. no thanks. here’s some opinions they have on some things:
i like anyone who makes social responsibility a priority.
my first major mama fail happened this month. i let my child sit on a hardwood floor and fall backward. complete accident of course! so thankful she was just fine, i cried much longer than she did, but i think you must get an upgraded version of the mom card once you have thought you broke your child. i’m actually impressed it took me 7 months to earn it. really grateful all we wound up with was a baby goose egg and puffy mama eyes. could have been so much worse.
7 months is amazing. never could i have looked this far into the future and imagined life this good.
let me be clear, there are rough. moments.
specifically in the night.
but in the light of morning the hard is precious to you. it refines you. it tests your mamaness to the core and finds you stronger. and i’m grateful for it.
this has been a beautiful story so far. bring on chapter 8.
