pick a bunch of fresh moccs

it’s so silly and remarkably unbelievable how little i know about the area I live in! i’ve lived here 3 years shy of all my life. growing up, we were definitely one of those families who sticks to what they know. i have the best memories of horseshoe lake every summer (except for last summer — insert doctor mask emoji + and a story about a norovirus you don’t want to hear), taco time or subway for special lunches + TCBY for good grade celebrations + godfathers pizza on sunday nights. all traditions that wouldn’t have been made had we never gone back to the same place twice. there’s something about that that i want for my family too. knowing the girls at the coffee shop by name and bringing cookies + christmas cards to our librarian. but theres also a whole-lot-a places that new memories could be made here if we just go out find them. enter my dear friend Moch Snyder. having lived here all her life, she’s ever so sweetly introducing me to the local places that I, being a local, would most likely know about that i’ve somehow missed along the ride. home-town-ucation, if you will.

when Freshly Picked launched their B-A-N-A-N-A-S and Trip to the Tropics spring line i knew i wanted to shoot some photos funky fresh and Moch knew all the coolest spots. can you handle these walls? way too fun. and this apparel is get outta here cute. we love everything Susan does, and this line was no different. that lady knows how to dress a kiddo. (edit: these bad boys are going on sale thursday, 6/25! last chance!) we’re doing a little giveaway together over on instagram (update: giveaway is now closed!) pop on over and win yourself $150 to their shop!

in case you were wondering: i’m wearing these overalls, this hat and these converse and zoey’s wearing all kinds of goodies from the Freshly Picked spring 2015 line.
