oh those shoes…
this was the outfit i wore on the very first day i couldn’t put on my own shoes.
your daddy found me out when he noticed i was in my pajamas brushing my teeth and still had on those strappy mint sandals peaking out from under my yoga pants.
he gave us that smile. you know the one. that little smile that says ‘of course i’m here to help. and i promise to only remind you of this moment with that other kind of smile. the sneaky one.’
you just were 24 weeks little then. april twenty-third two thousand twelve.
every one says they can barely see you. oh, but we can see you little baby.
you make yourself very known.
(somehow? i think you’ll always be a little like that.)
lots of love, my little.
